HOW I CREATE

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a beautiful, rural New England town. I spent years developing traditional art techniques and eventually decided to focus on realism in portraiture. At 18 years old, I moved to Los Angeles and began an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist. During the next six years, I was privileged to work alongside world renowned artist Kirk Alley in his private, upscale studio. I made the difficult decision to depart from an extremely successful body art career in 2006 to pursue other artistic passions. In 2008, I teamed up with author/journalist, Mira Tweti and illustrated the vibrant, educational children’s book “Here, There and Everywhere” (published by Parrot Press).

More recently, I discovered a love for reverse glass painting along with pet portraiture. I find the most joy in creating custom commissioned pieces. There’s nothing like seeing a person receive a one-of-a-kind work of art that will be treasured for a lifetime.

In 2012, my husband, Tom and I moved from Los Angeles to Central Florida. We drastically simplified our lives to devote ourselves to volunteer work. Creating custom art supports our love for improving the lives of others in the community. I regularly show my art at local galleries throughout Central Florida and gladly accept private commissions both nationally and internationally..

WHAT I DO

I have a passion for sign art made with embellished typography. Words and letters can stimulate cherished memories, and create a lasting, original piece of art that sends a message of love to the recipient. However, my works are not only limited to lettering and typography. Take a scroll through the GALLERY and see some of the many concepts and surfaces that can be customized to suit your visions.

All work is custom, original and hand painted for each client. Only the highest quality enamels and materials are used in my studio.
